Board

NSW

Brad Draper -€“ Managing Director

Brad is a proud Wiradjuri man who lives in Orange, in Central NSW and grew up in Cowra/Canowindra. He has worked in the areas of Employment/Training and Mining Services for some 20 years, holding senior positions within Commonwealth, State and Private Enterprise. He is passionate about the current social, cultural, and economic implications within the Mining industry. An industry that is occurring on Traditional Aboriginal land. He sees there is an obligation from the mining companies to work collaboratively with the traditional owners and the communities in which they operate.

This is an opportunity to Change Lives and Create Futures€ by working directly with communities and the Mining Industry. Our “Hand in Glove”€ approach has allowed KENJARHY to bring together a range of respected Aboriginal Community Members, as a voice for their people, therefore not segregating individuals or families. It is all about working together, placing a major emphasis on training our people to become a skilled workforce, and ultimately presenting the vast range of employment and career opportunities that exist within the Resources sector at present  that is how we will change lives, allow KENJARHY the opportunity to manage and deliver on small to medium contracts within the mining industry and we will show you what can be done.

Kim Draper -€“ Secretary

Kim is a Director of KENJARHY . She has worked within the underwriting/workercompensation departments of major insurance companies previously. Kim has an in depth knowledge of the insurance/payroll/workers compensation and most, if not all legislative requirements in the governance of the company.

It was Kim’s vision who first drafted the concept of KENJARHY. Having worked within mainstream employment companies delivering services to the mining industry, she constantly questioned “€œWhy”€ these companies were not employing and training Aboriginal people.

Kim has three very proud Wiradjuri children and wants opportunities exposed to Aboriginal people and their children to earn the same salaries as which mainstream people attain in the mining and resources sectors. The administration team in which she manages, places our people first.

She brings a very focussed and female perspective to the board. Kim wants to make sure that other women become involved in KENJARHY as the company develops at a board and operational level.
